About Us
Bruce P. Donovan, President of Bruce Donovan Construction, Inc., graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering. He is also certified to install helical piers. He believes in continued education going to seminars and classes to stay abreast of new ideas to better serve the customer.

Bruce grew up in a construction oriented family. He worked for his father and brother in the commercial and residential masonry business and worked his way through college as a rough and finish carpenter. After receiving his degree in 1986 he worked in the engineering field for a short time. Preferring hands on aspects of construction, Bruce started a commercial and residential carpentry business. The business was incorporated in 1992. Since then, with the help of caring and skilled employees, the business has prospered and grown to include:

· Specializing in Solving Problem Structures

· Foundation Repair and Restoration with use of Helical Piers

· New Construction Foundations on unstable soils (helical piers and grade beams)

· Sea Wall Systems, and Distribution and Installation for American Lakeside Docks and Accessories.

Bruce Donovan Construction, Inc. is licensed and insured. We are based out of Hamburg Michigan, but do business throughout the entire State. Some of our recent projects include repairing the foundation of the Rainbow Car Wash in Brighton Michigan and the foundation of the Akzo-Nobel Midwest Testing Facility in Troy Michigan. In both of these projects the use of helical piers were required to lift and stabilize the existing footings which were sinking due to poor soil conditions. We also did a great deal of custom work on the Zukey Lake Tavern in Lakeland, Michigan as well as the Osprey Management Company’s building in Brighton, Michigan.
